Lucía arrived at the London airport after a long flight from Mexico. She was excited but a
bit nervous, it was her first time traveling alone.
As she walked out of the airport, she looked around and asked a security guard:
— “Excuse me, where can I find the bus stop?"
The guard smiled and pointed her in the right direction.
Lucía made her way to the stop and asked the driver:
— "Hi, how much is the bus ticket?"
— "£3.50," the driver replied.
Later, she realized she was going the wrong way! She got off the bus and asked someone:
— "Where can I grab a train to the city center?"
— "Just go down those stairs, take platform 2," the woman said.
Lucía followed the directions and finally boarded the train. After another 20 minutes, she was in the city, but now she had to find her hotel. Her phone’s battery was dying, so she asked someone on the street:
— "Hi, is there a taxi nearby?"
— "Yeah, there's a taxi stand a few blocks that way," he said as he pointed to the other way. At last, Lucía arrived at her hostel, tired but proud of handling everything on her own.
